I have a 1949 MC, a 1950 MT, and a 1951 M. The MT manual says the transmission gear box should take 7.5 quarts, and I assumed the M and MC would be the same. I drained and refilled both this fall with SAE 80 - 90 and they each filled to the filler plug with only 5 to 6 quarts. Am I not getting all the old oil out or are the capacities different from what I see in the MT manual?
Or is there another reason?
