Have a friend who says to use human hair to keep deer and rabbits out of your garden. He has local barber shop or beauty salon save the hair they cut. He puts it in a nylon mesh bag and hangs it in his garden. He has several in his garden.

Saw that in the movie "ROOKIE". They tried to grow grass for a baseball diamond and the deer kept destroying it. Put human hair all around and Wala!!!!!!!!!!

Been using hair around the borders of my veggie patches for years. I scatter on ground, tissues and all, and put down new after a meaningful rainfall. It does help, but is not perfect. I use fishing line around boundaries also. Go to crops and critters to "2010 melon patch" thread and you will see a pic. We put out hair last Thursday befre coming to Caseman's show. Have not seen a deer track in thegardens since then. Gotta put out some more tomorrow or Sat.

Also if you've got a kitty liter box, scatter the droppin's around the garden.
Works as a little extra fertilizer, and rodent deterrent. ;)
