I noticed when walking around grandpas farm the model G is missing some parts. will a distributor from a model A or B work as a replacement? is the starter motor the same as a model A?

how much does this tractor weigh?

if the cylinders have ever filled with water and froze, where would I look for cracks if it possibly cracked?

about 5000 pounds for any of the 2 cylinder JD's (according to tractordata 5300 - 7442)

If it is cracked you will know it when you try to put water in. It will leak out as quickly as you pour it in.
