One of the problems I have with old vehicles is sometimes removing a rusted in light bulb and having it stuck so tight that it breaks in my fingers. Actually I only did that once and have looked a long time for a solution. I think I have found it. Removing a burnt out 1034 park light bulb yesterday from my IH pickup I stumbled onto a good solution. I took a short piece of heater hose, about 3/4 inch diameter I think. I pushed it onto the bulb as far as it would go and twisted at the same time. The hose gripped tight and removed the stuck bulb without breaking it. Here is a photo I took of this "special purpose tool".
