Link belts on farm tractors.

Hi, Has anyone had any experience with using link belts for fan or generator drive belts. ? I have seen them in a couple of pictures but can get no information on them. I have a John Deere 1957? 420w and to change a v belt on it is a nightmare. If the link belts work. That would be great for me. Any and all information will be appreciated. thank you very much.
