Math current rules that has changed since I took schooling now says multiplication and division first followed by addition and subtraction.

Original Question 6-1x0+2/2=

so 1x0 = 0

2/2 =1

6-0+1=7

I am sure it's changed a bunch of times since i went to school also; and Oklahoma may have used a different approach also.

Set up as below.

Unless something has changed from my algebra days the rules should be to first do multipication, division and then the addition or subtraction.

6-(1x0)+(2/2)= 7
