you could ask the guys who are runnubg the steamers what power there engines have. then you can base your tractor selection on that thresher. yet i don't think it can be to much because our local club has a fairly large case steamer and i think we had a little smaller thresher than that but when they took the steamer off they put an old farmall F-20 on and it did ok.
