1964 D15 Series II
No the paint and decals are not right,
but it was bought to be a working tractor, and it does.

1974 175.
I needed a bit more power to run a 5x6 round baler.

1969 160
I just wanted a 160, and found one that starts and runs good, but has a few issues that I have yet to resolve.
This one will be the first restored after I get a shop built in the next few years, and will be my show and ride tractor.

Yea, but that hazy look on the hood of the 160 isn't the camera, or the paint, it's rust.
Just real close to the faded color of what paint is left on it. No paint left on the fender tops.
The guy threw in a gallon of P.O.2 and a quart of cream for the wheels, when I bought it.
He started restoring it, rebuilt the engine, then got bored with it.
The other two have been repainted at least once. So neither are original.
The Ford (in another post) will be the first full time worker to get a paint job.

It's the only tractor I bought without having a purpose in mind for it. Just because I wanted it.
After I bought it I found a future purpose for it, Because it runs really ssllloooooww in first gear,
(Manual states 0.6 m.p.h. in 1L and 0.9 m.p.h. in 1H at rated engine r.p.m. ), and has enough power to run a six footer.
It will make the perfect garden tiller tractor, once I get it sorted out.

Yea, Luke, I found a job it would be perfect for with it's slow first gear ground speed.
Won't have to wear the power director on the D-15 to use a six foot tiller.
It may be a year or two before I get around to getting it sorted out.
I may wind up putting another 2 or 3 feet on the exhaust pipe, or converting it to underbelly (factory option).
Whichever gets it far enough away for me to tolerate it. :?

The 175 came from the front of a 170 and the heavier rear of a 180.
With a faster 2nd gear than either had before. Thus "Crop Hustler"
A bit bigger than your D17 with a square nose, is a good way to describe it.
Still used the power director for live pto. The pto lever, pedals, hand clutch same as a D series.
Upgraded hydraulics, hydro steering. About 60-65 h.p. pto, diesel engines were Perkins 4cyl.
I like it. Runs my 5'x6' roll baler real well. It's the hardest work I do with it.
Controls are easy to reach, and the tractor easy to operate in my opinion.
