Nice little hill side plow. I can't see real good but it looks like that one has the plow chief bottoms with the small point to change in the front. If it is they don't make them any more but if you have a old dealer around they might have a couple left in stock but look out when you price them. The last one I bought I gave $45.00 for at IH. You can buy one still at agri supply for $7.99 but the ones I have seen you have to grind a little in the corner of the point to get them to match the shear right no big deal though. I've never used them but have seen them on one. For that price they probably aint going to be real tough. You can change them over to the super chief bottoms and still get parts if you want. If you got a tractor junk yard close might find a pretty good used set. Heres a pic of the plow chief point.

I see you got the mower to you got something you are going to use them on?

Yes i got all this stuff with a farmall cub lo boy with fast hitch i bought a few years ago. There are no tractor junk yards anywhere in driving distance. If this has the points you indicated and can get them at agri supply what do i look for in their catalog?
Those are still avaailable new from CaseIH. we ain't letting IH die easy.call Jason at Marshals Tractor parts. tell him you need parts for Plow Chief bottoms.. phone no is 1-859-234-5889.they are a bit pricey but last nearly forever. If you have a Central Tractor dealer they may have them. I don't see anything wrong with that one.
If you can still get the real thing from Marshals I would give them a call and see how much they are, I have delt with Marshals and had good service and the originals will probably be harder and longer lasting with a better fit but if they are out you can go to agri supply's web site and type ihc spearpoint and they will come up.

This picture was taken when we first got the plow! They were decent then! Now after using them in our ground, they are shot.

Looked these up at agri supply and they appear to be what i have! I will be buying these soon. As for the the hardness, that will not be a problem! I have done with good success hardfacing with a welder, it works wonders for plow points!
I want to thank ya'll for your help and suggestions. Now if i could find an IH 151 Disc plow for my Dad. That is what he really wants!

Yeah i know it will be tough, there were a couple on ebay around the middle of last year, wish i would have bought one then. The essentials were there but the linkages were missing, which wouldn't have been a problem, i hate to brag but i'm good at fabricating authentic looking duplicates. I just wasn't as interested as i am now! I am located in Central West Virginia.
