What can yall experienced Oliver Folks tell me about this model scheduled to be sold just down the road tomorrow. There were never many in these parts.

Well if it's the one I think it is it's an Oliver 550 approximately 35 horse on the draw bar built from 1958 to 1975. If you go to tractodata.com you can see production numbers etc. up here in mn that's a 3500 to 5000 dollar tractor all day long.

The son-in-law of the owner told the auctioneer that it was a 1947 or 48 model I think. If its a 550, it would be newer than that. I'd think it would have live pto and lift. It has sat for awhile. I was told there was lots of crud in the gas tank. I knew the owner since I was a kid, but never remember seeing him use it.
It looks heavy, and the tires are shot. I'll find out tomorrow if it runs.
Are parts easily available?
