Helping a friend today. He lives a mile off the the nearest road. Last 1/2 mile has woods on both sides. Going home there was something on the driveway, as I got closer I see it's a new born fawn, :shock: It's still wet and after birth lying there. I sat there for about 15 minute watching the fawn get up and get steady enough to walk. Whole time the doe is standing in the woods watching me. Once in a life time and me with no camera. Gives a whole new meaning to fresh deer

Only ran one out of a hayfield this year so far. There are plenty of all sizes here. The babies are cute, if only they did not grow up.
