1st time chicken owner. Had them for about a week now. Counted 29 birds. 2 are Roosters. Getting about 20 eggs a day. Wife wants to let them free graze but I am afraid they will tear up the garden.

Bought these from a neighbor who is moving, never asked what kind they are. Maybe you can tell me.

Looks a good mixed flock of chickens. If you getting 20 eggs a day that is good and thats what you looking for. after eating country eggs hard to eat them old store eggs. Pies & cakes are so much better with country eggs - enjoy your chickens
