Well I found my neighbor a very good deal on this New Idea, he bought it and told me to redo it so here i go on number 9 on my manure spreader restorations!













I got him a steal on it at $500, It works good, only thing is it has a good bit of ugly welds. and it needs some more, im doing all new wood and painting it up real nice for him.

not too bad shape, some of the beaters are ones cut out of plateing

how are going to fasten the wood ?
at work we use the floor screws with the drill bits on the screws . they counter sink in the wood nice on there own .

on the other ones ive done i have drilled out the old screws and used bolts with washers and nuts as the boards attach to the metal supports below them
