She will be one week old tomorrow night! This is the first birth on the farm in over 15 years, so this little one is pretty special. We bottle raised her mother about 4 years ago, her name is Ellie Mae, and the "new kid" is Donna Ray - named after my grandfather (Donald Ray) who's 72nd birthday she was born on. The 2 (now 3) goats on our place are strictly pets - but they are very loveable ones at that. The buck, Zorro, we acquired about a year or so ago from my great uncle who raises Boers as a hobby, and much like the rest of us loves the things to the extent they become hard to part with... so when he needed a new male - Zorro came to our place. He and Ellie have gone on to give us this little one, and we've all been pretty excited. Just thought I would share the excitement among fellow enthusiasts on here - hope you enjoy!
