Dave, NC has some unique beaches. The southern most ones face south towards the ocean as opposed to facing east towards the ocean. The sun rises and sets over the water at these beaches.BigDaveinKY said:On my bucket list. May seem trivial, but I'm willin' to bet folks have, just to do it.

Go to the east coast and watch the sun rise over the ocean, then sight see across to the west coast,
and watch it set over the ocean, the same day.
Hoping it will be as spectacular as that one.

We have four too but mine were three girls and one boy. Boy had it pretty rough. What they would do to him!!!
