I bought an old heavy-duty Athens bog disc at an auction. I believe the model is: "Athens Plow Company G-8" (there was another exactly the same that still had a tag on it). I bought it with intentions of using it on some rough ground we have .... it pulls fine and does the job. But I notice there's no grease fittings etc, but have noticed 2 large ports with plugs on each axle that have 3/4 inch square fittings (see photo). I coated them with WD-40 in anticipation I will need to take them out to lub the disc. However, not sure if I'm correct in my assumption and/or what lub/oil should be used. Any info or suggestions is appreciated,

Thanks.
