Pecans are dropping already. I have picked up more so far this year than I got total last year.

Mine have almost all already come down!! Squirrels seem to really enjoy but my old trees they are too small to use.

They have began to fall here, and there were not many on my tree. The squirrels start getting them long before they start to fall.
No doubt though that there will be a big crop of squirrel seed. I can thin the herd by a couple of dozen, and replacements show up quickly.

Those falling here are not filled out and are no good, Looks like a 2 year no pecan in most of Oklahoma

The squirrels are no longer going into my pecan tree. They finished harvesting them before they began to fall.
