I got to admit, I almost painted my 48A like that for my wife, now I'm glad I didn't as she has never driven it or taken any interest in it and I'd look funny competing in the tractor games on a pink tractor.
IF she ever decides to take an interest in a tractor I'd paint it any color she wished.
I think that one turned out pretty nice compared to some I saw back when I was researching pink tractors for her.

Question here guys; aren't a lot of the pink tractors we see over the internet folks that are supporting cancer research?????? Many of the owners being survivors?????????? Seems like a few years ago i read about one that was pink for that reason.

Girls automatically become twice as pretty as soon as they get on a tractor, so if they like pink tractors I say go ahead and paint 'em pink. Besides, if they loose interest we can always paint them the colors they're supposed to be.

Clampdaddy You have a point there; much as i dislike Pink or Purple, if it will draw more ladies into tractoring, it may be worth paintin em pink :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

puts me in mind of the sayin' "a happy wife makes for a happy life"

and after all - a well done tractor is a well done tractor regardless of the colour

You're right Melvin, a lady named Lorie Garland, who went by "PINKy" started pulling an Allis Chalmers C
painted pink around the circuits in the Carolinas, then elsewhere,to promote breast cancer awareness.
She was the first as far as I know, that started using a pink tractor, either pulling or at a show, for this promotion.
I found this video of her in action.

I heard a few years ago that she sold the C and built another, but since have lost touch, and not sure.

Thank You Dave for the update and the link; it seems like there also at one time was a Purple M Farmall that belonged to another survivor. Definately worthwhile causes
