bow that's a cramped lil dizzy to work in to install points in,. pretty stiff spring too! :) need a lil pocket gnome or elf-hands to work on them.. :)

Fortunately you only need to do it every 15 years or so, lol.

with good points, I've got most of my tractors going 5-10ys.. that's with bluestreak or similar qaulity 13-22$ points.

them cheap 5$ tisco sets are pur junk.

I had dropepd a tisco set in her when i got her as the owner gave me a new set. they were loose at the post they slip over, allowingthe points to cock to the side and not strike face to face.. the junky grey metal coroded every few days requiring pulling a piece of paper thru.. doing that actually bent the arm and opened the gap to .025 from .02 just doing it a few weeks...

got them new ones in and can't believe I even wasted my time with the freeby tisco set.. :(
