Another week long rainy period begins tonight as a cutoff low pressre area moves to the southeastern US and camps out for awhile. For several days we are predicted to have rain and cool high temps in the 60s. The last bit of haymaking will have to wait another week.
Temps are finally warming a bit as our low pressure system sits, spins, and weakens. 1.7 inches of rain so far. About 3 more days of clouds and showers predicted. No sunshine since Sunday. High today 72.

Walking outside early this morning and spotting a couple of 70 plus year old Farmalls under a shed made me wonder how long our old tractors and equipment would be productive if parts and people would be around to keep them going and use them. As I age and slow a bit they still serve a purpose...
