Discovered the forum had returned. Hail from SW MI. Grew up on a farm in the 50's, yes, I'm older than dirt. Dad was a red power fan but I was the loaner kid if all someone needed was a warm body to steer, I was a bit on the small side (read scrawny) but have made up for it. Farmers then and before were quite likely to trade labor with a neighbor, sometimes including a tractor. Thus I have driven quite a few different tractors. I remember being sent with the M to switch silage wagons. "MY" M wound up on the blower and I was given a cantankerous old JD A that I couldn't start. The only JDA I ever drove. There were other JD's. Thus my love of old tractors but no love of farming, I could not have done it. Past times include a garden which I don't consider farming, woodworking and a toy train. The only tractor I have is dad's cub which he bought to cultivate his garden. Vern
