well.. last week I put a wreath on the front door and a jingle bell jingler onthe knob.. was gonna call it a season.. and then the bug got me.

The wife loves a tree.. but sometimes we skipp it due to work / time.. but I drug her favorite tree outta the attic.. trimmed it with the goodies she likes.. put a lit pine garland across the drapes behind it.. then went out and strung about 40-50' of pine garland across the fence and the front gate and hung 3 more wreaths on t he gate, plus a nice jingle bell and pine cone and garland decoration on the paper box... still felt froggy.. so dug out some twing=kle and hte larger ? c6 lights and strug up the front porch and front eave of the house with multi ******** and some whites.. etc few twinklers for taste.

had it all up and running for when the wife pulled in about 7pm last night. looked halfway decent.. :)

Weve barely got started at home! Put up my wifes village last night, and the tree is up, but no decorations on it. Probably wont do anything outside, except for the wreath on the door since so much Christmas decorations are getting stolen around here. Wife wants to put up her garland in the house, and I still have my tractor tree to do, but Im debating on that, since I have to clean off the top of the display closet I have to put it up there where I usually do. Just not much in the Christmas mood this year. Kinda hard to be when its 72 degrees outside.

i was gonna skip outside stuff and just go with the wreath on the door.. however the neighbor is an overachiever.. lets say.. and well.. my house disappears when his is powered up.. so i had to at least do something so my place wasn't cast in darkness..

Talk about lights: The neighbor across the road must be thinking they are the "GRISWALDS in GIRTON" at there house. Each year they start putting stuff up earlier & earlier & this year had it all setup before thanksgiving w/end.
Yes they have several grandchildren & only get to see them over the holidays or long w/ends. We used to "Light up" our place when our grand children were small too, - now just look out the window & think, what must their electric bill be for over the month that they are on from 5 till 11 & again from 5 to 7 in morning.

our neighbor hgas you beat by about 3x .. unfortunately..

I went out last night to see what the dog was barking at. I for some stupid reason carried a flashlight with me, and my revolver... didn't need the flashlight.. might have used a pair of sun glasses though. :)

I think the dog thought the aliens were here to get us or something.. or the lights were keeping him up.. :)

serioulsly.. the lifghts are bright enough that my security ligts on the front, back and that side won't come on as there is enough ambient light hitting the sensors! that they think it is daylight!! ( really! )
