Saw a 60 advertised with a rare wide front end rolla matic. My question is, did the ever make such a thing? I've seen the wide front ends and the narrow, but never together.
I grew up around the 2 cylinders. The neighbors all had them and had never seen a rollamatic wide front.Lovesthedrive said:You are correct. Wide front ends are not rare (seller hype). It is an either or, yet not both. Wide front ends do have the features of a roll a matic by the sense of the front end will contort to a change of elevation on the front end. All tractors do this with a wide front end. The true "roll-a-matic" front end just meant that it had a tricycle front end with dual tires and the ability of one tire to drop when the other tire rose over a stone.
Either the seller doesnt know what it is they have. Or like my tractor, when I first got it, it had a sticker on the dash saying roll-a-matic, with a wide front end.
So you need to ask them if they are selling the tractor with a wide front end (and a) roll-a-matic. Or is it just one front end only and a misprint.
