Went to an aucton yesterday that had 17 antique tractors to sell. One was a real nice Case SC that looked really good and ran great. If had good rear tires and good front tires. I think it sold for $900 which I thought was a bit low for one that nice. It was good day for buying.

Did not mean to depress you. I am depressed myself for not buying at least one tractor. They sold 17. They all went low IMO except for a Farmall H that sold for $3200.00. It was totally restored but seemed high compared to what the others were sold for. Almost all of them had been restored, some just needing paint. This guy was good at what he did as far as tarctors and fixing things. His shop tool auction is 11/17 I think.

$3200.00 for an H? Wowzers
Sounds like a good auction. I would have like to been there if only to look.
Seems like the SC 's go pretty cheap most of the time. I rember going to a Polk Auction out in Indiana one time. Real nice SC with new tires, perfect paint, and even a chrome stack went for 1,200 I was shocked because everything else was bringing in big bucks

I have noticed that too. There must be a lot of them around to go so cheap. For some reason everthing went for low dollars at this auction. This was my third antique tractor auction in six weeks. This last one was a good one for the buyers. ;) Looking back I wish now that I gotten one or two. I could have resold and made some money.

I've passed over dozens and have kicked myself many times for not buying to resell.
