Went to bed last night and it was still warm Autumn. Woke up this morning and Winter had set in.

The cold will arrive here later today and tonight. My Ohio cousin had a heavy dusting of snow over night, and his daughter in Arkansas awoke this morning to an inch of snow on the ground. We are predicted to get some sleet on Tuesday.

Had a friend that lives in southern IL send some pics to me yesterday and said they had 5" of snow already.

I went to my brothers yesterday, 30 miles north. The 4" of snow they got was still lingering in the shady spots. We were just barely south of the snow band where freezing rain and sleet were falling.
