got up early.. farrier was here at 7am.. trimmed the horses.. got my foot stomped once.. glad I had boots on.. meant only a bruise not a break :)


got the lawnmower out had at the yard and did the front of the neighbors too. fired the tractor up and mowed the RoW.. a few ac between me and the neighbor..

came home.. did some edging.. put out bug granuales in the yard.. then mixed up some yard spray...

took care of the animals.. fixed a flat ( i think ) :) , that developed ont he tractor AFTER I parked it.. :)


shower, lunch.. off to work!


got to do some fence clearing tomorrow!

Soundguy you have had a busy day and still got to go to work. You had lots of different jobs today,bounced from one to another.

Guess I won't have to do anything tomorrow. You done enough for the both of us............ Glad you had a good productive day (minus the foot stomp). Raining, windy and down right cold here today. Fixed Colin's tractor right outside the patio doors but thats it. Tomorrow's another day.

would love some rain here. got a spit yesterday.. threatoned today.

we got a lil rain 2 weeks ago.. enough to make grass come up.. then nada.. thought pasture might support horses.. but decided to play it safe and invested in 1 more round bale to give the grass a break for another month.. will see.. :)

Sure hope y'all get some rain. We've been needing it pretty bad around here. Got it just in time to help the farmers with planting starting up. Also help us with our new garden.

yeppers!



got up this am and tended to the animals.. then sharpened up my short and long machette, and then went at the fence line limbing overhanging shrubs and trees, and removing any suckers and sticker bushes/small trees that have come up on my fence line.

raked up some woody debris in a pile in the back... decided to come in and clean the house.. counters, swept and mopped floors..e tc... showered.. had lunch... had a 45m nap.. now at work.. :)

Been outside weldin, torchin, cuttin n fabbin on the bush hog to get it safe n sound. Pulled a couple tree stumps out with the dozer. Plenty more to keep me busy here.

Ok, here we goooooooooooooooooo

Added the rubber to the front to keep the driver from catching debri.



Not pretty but funtional. All from the scrap pile so just a lil wire and time.



And the line up as of now.

No other braces. Thought about it but not much clearance when backin up and the wheel spins. Gonna be watchin it for a while to see how it goes. So far really don't look like much stress on it. Watched him mow a little bit.

if id does need another brace, might use a piece of flat and go from the upper bracket tucked up close to the 2 pieces of tubing, hitting the deck at the base of the tubing.

as you say.. simply may not need it... and if not.. no need to keep dressing it up
