Some Of My Wildlife

Got a close encounter with some of the biggest wildlife around here yesterday evening. 4 moose in the field as I was driving home through the bush trail. A bull, a cow and two calves. Wonder how much crop they will eat? The population is rising from what I hear. Got a little video of them.

Wow You sure have some beautiful country there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just curious are they good eating?
Great video. someday I would love to hunt a moose.
Yes,I hear they are good eating and there will be some hunting tickets issued this fall to help control the population which is growing. Of course there are a lot more white tail deer than moose here.
Really enjoyed watching that. Those things sure are big and I hear the bulls can be mean. Fun to watch though.

Rusty, with all the varmints we have here already, I'm kinda glad they are up there and I am here. ;)

Yes, Jim, these too will become a pest some day. I remember when beavers first showed up here 40 years ago and everybody was all excited about these interesting new creatures. Now I curse their dams that flood my land and the trees fallen into my crop that I have to cut around.
Racoons were a novelty too 30 some years ago when the first ones showed up. Taking pictures and people coming out to the farm to see them. Now they are in the same category as rats as far as I am concerned and I do my best to control their population.
