I have two BIG trailer loads of bales to unload, but all my spring hay is done for now. I mowed the last 8 acres knowing rain was in the forecast. It had a shower on it less than 24 hours after mowing, but teddering took care of that. It is a relief since, over the last few years, it has been near the third week of June before finishing. It means I gotta find something else to take its place, and I know I won't have to look very far.

Got mine done about two weeks ago. Another two or three weeks and it'll be ready for the second cutting.
After that we'll have to see how the rain comes this summer. ;)

Very seldom does one get a second cutting here in the summer unless it is wet, cool, and there's lots of clover in the field.
