not long ago I picked up an old two wheeled Springfield tractor with a sickle mower.... 1949 or 50ish judging by the early Clinton engine, built by the Quick Manufacturing Inc. in Springfield Ohio.

A new one to me too. I think the hood and grill are similar to some the early Wheelhorse mowers/tractors.

Styling is similar to and old WH but they were built by Quick Manufacturing and only during the 60s according to TractorData.... not many had 12" rear wheels so if you know the HP you can probably find it there.... 62TE looks pretty close.

Have the Code number from the B&S engine? first two digits are the year.

There were a lot of these made pre war in England they went by the name Allen sythe , two stroke , pigs to start , small farmers and ground keepers loved them compared to a real scythe .
