Today I was Stalk Chopping, with a 1972 Allis 7030, that belongs to the farmer I work for.

The old tractor still looks good after forty years of farming.
I don't think I've seen a flail mower that big. Most I see around here are 5-8 foot mowers.

Not only does it look good, it runs great as well. The tractor has around 9,400 hours on it, but the motor only has 1,955 hours. I am doing about 40 acres a day, and still have about 300 acres left to do.

Cool! Never got to run one with a cab before but bet it sure would be nice on these cool days. I must be getting old because my first thought was that it was good to see younger people showing intrest in working on the farm. That thing looks like a hoss to get to run. Good to see you having fun.

Not that one. His Dad has a 180 with a loader that I would like to get, if he sells it.
