Just announced from the BSFSRy office:

"We are very happy to announce Wasatch Railroad Contractors of Cheyenne, WY has been selected for the K&T No. 14 Steam Locomotive project. One step closer to operational steam in Stearns, KY!!!!"

It is hoped that we'll be under steam sometime in 2013.

It is a Lima designed locomotive built by American Locomotive Co. under the provisions of the War Powers Act in 1944.

It will probably be a while before 152 runs again.

If anyone is interested, there are pictures of what has been done to date on the www.bsfsry.com Web site.

Come down and I'll be glad to take you for a shop tour.
