no we dont have a grinder but we'll make due with something around here next year. thats some good ol' memories you have there. we hear how good the cider is alot. I'd love to see something like that in operation. we dont have trees ourselves yet but we got a few friends that have trees and dont do anything with the apples. so figured we wouldv w said:Have used todays version of that press. Do you have a grinder to go with it? I like fresh cider but the trees became a chore to keep and my sister-in-law cut them down. Many moons ago as a kid I remember gathering a trailer load of apples to go to the cider mill. It was water powered, I can remember the wheel, the shafts and flat belts flapping away. They would squeal when the press came up to pressure. I also remember catching a glassful right then and there. Good. Vern
