The first heavy flue-cured tobacco hornworm and budworm crop would come soon after the light nights of June. Dipel dust worked the best for us, cuz we could put it where it needed to be. Spraying was done by the larger growers. I was just wondering if the flies hit the burley fields just as they found the tobacco fields here in NC.
