Today; as I cleared the Canadian border into the US at Blaine Washington, with a load of pavers, a line of electrical power repair trucks from Canada were also clearing, and headed South. There must have been twenty of them, I would assume they are headed to aid with hurricane repairs. I am a retired Puget Sound Energy employee, and several times over the years, our Canadian brothers came to assist us repair heavy storm damage. God bless them, may they all be safe.:flag:

Thank you Skipper! Those in the destruction and flooded paths of Harvey and Irma need lots of help and support. Miss Joanne has a cousin, a power company retiree, hunkering down in Orlando. They have been talking and texting lots over the past several days. He lives on high ground and has a tough time ahead. His future plans include a trip here in October. He and Miss Joanne have not seen each other since they were children. We pray God and mankind will care for and comfort the storm victims.
