I have a very old John Deere tractor that has been sitting for well over 40 years. It's condition, as expected, is pretty rough. I don't know how to go about finding out its value, but I am very sure that someone would like to purchase it, for decoration if nothing else. I would also like for someone to share if they know what it is that I have. I have replied with two pictures of it and I can be contacted by email at [email protected], or by phone at 423-762-3033.

I can't help you with model ID other than it is an un-styled JD. As for value, unless the trans/motor/differential is salvageable for someone who need one what you need to do is call the scrap dealer to come get it.

If the tag is still readable, you can decipher year and model. It is an unstyled A or B. I would strip off any parts that are not totally shot. Radiator tank, hood, flywheel ect, can bring decent money.

I would have to agree that the serial number you posted ....37824.... does make it built in 1937
