Enjoyed the videos. A lot of people don't like the 6 volt systems when it gets cold but I never to tell much difference as long as they both had good cables on them. I do remember one morning it was below 0 and the only thing on the farm that started was "Blue" a 63 modle 2000 ford 6v. It was in the barn which may have helped but still plenty cold. Took it pulled the truck off then could jump the car. A older fellow told me one time a 6v turns slow but they turn a long time.

Funny how all those years it was all we had but I'm with you Never had any problems as long as you maintained them. Heck we never used anything but 30 weight oil they would grunt but almost always started.

Harold has 40 some tractors but brags that only one or two are 6 volt still.....confuses me some since he'll take a completely original tractor unrestored and hang and alternator on it....just looks out of place I guess
