My bride tells me I collect Dust, and Junk, if that counts.
If anything I have to say I collect tools.
Whether operated by hand, electric motor, or combustion engine.
Most everything has a purpose to help me do a job. ;)

Most of the things I collect are things that other people no longer want.

Betty, if people still want things, maybe for their collections, then that stuff will not fit my collection. However with the way today's folks discard, sell, or give away practical, useable stuff, I have a feelin' my collection will continue to grow. I didn't set out to acquire much of the stuff I have, so I don't really consider my things a proper collection. Now as a kid, I collected coins and filled coin books. Pennies, dimes, and nickels was all I could afford. I did begin saving and silver coins I could a few years after they were no longer minted. I collected different varieties of rocks and mounted them on pieces of plywood. I had lots of records, 45s and 33s.
Given today's market and situation, I can think of lots of things I wish I would have collected though.
