512504RI1 is the part number for the plow beam not the serial number. The plow share on an A plow would be 14". A plow sahre for a Cub would be 12". Be careful of what you order. I do not know the part number for the shares.

There should be a part # on the back of the part.

There was a place in south west Mich advertising on craigslist that it has new and used plow parts for sale. I don't have a address but they do still advertise now and then.

Thank you, I will keep watch for that. Found another plow exactly like mine in decent shape for $75 so I picked it up. I am also going to try and get the broken plowshare welded and see how that works.

After buying 2-16" shares for a MF model 43 plow a few weeks ago, I think it was a wise move to buy another plow.

That's what I was afraid of Jim, I had no idea there were this many plowshare morels and designs. At least with two I have some redundancy. My son is an ironworker and he said the share is cast steel and he can weld the broken one. That's good news if it works out.
