Hello, this is my first tractor
a 1956 Massey Harris Mustang #23
and I have no information about the maintenance

There is water in the hydraulic oil (cream color)
engine oil is black
and i can't find how to check other oils

I specify that the tractor will only serve me in winter to scratch my yard

I would like to know please, how to do all the oil changes, and with what grade :)

You've got a nice looking old tractor. I can't tell you specifics about your tractor but, maybe someone here can.
My advice to everyone is do a google search for your particular tractor's manuals. In this case "Massey Harris 23 Mustang manuals". Pick out and order an operator's and a service manual from where you would like to buy it.
They will have most the answers to all the questions you'll ever have about your tractor. You'll be glad you did.

Thank you I appreciate your comment and help :)
I like this little tractor, it does the job and its engine runs well

I will surely follow your advice (y) and look for
the operator's manual, to take care of it and keep it for a long time.

My return :

I opted for Classic 10W30 Castrol for the engine (4 pints)
(almost 1 pints for oil filter) and Klondike universal hydraulic oil
for transmission (2 gallon) / hydraulics .../ auxiliary pulley (1 gallon) / differential (4 gallon)

The transmission, differential, auxiliary pulley and engine oil changes have been done
and the gears now shift very well (y)

Now i have a problem
with starter switch ...

Edit: I solved this problem by changing to
a push button and an on/off switch

New problem, the alternator does not charge
Edit: problem solve :)
